Planet Improv, Incorporated (PII) is reaching out today to request your assistance in broadening our community connections and support. We are dedicated to empowering resilience in young individuals through creativity, but we need your help to further our mission both locally in Charlotte, NC, and beyond.

While PII works hard to fulfill our mission, we recognize the importance of reaching out to our community for support in expanding our impact. Over the past few years, we have facilitated a program called “Too Good for Drugs” (TGFD), created by the Mendez Foundation and proudly supported by a Mecklenburg ABC Board grant. This program targets kindergarten through fifth graders, teaching valuable lessons about healthy choices and resisting peer pressure.

Currently, we are seeking participants specifically from first to third grades for our upcoming grant period of sessions (July 2025 – June 2026). If you know any young children who would benefit from this program or have connections to local schools or organizations where these students gather, please let us know! Your support could help us reach more kids and equip them with the tools they need to lead happy, socially and emotionally healthy lives.

In addition to our immediate need for participants, we are also looking for connections to foundations that might be interested in supporting our mission. Many organizations require an invitation to make contact, and we need your help to bridge that gap. If you are aware of any foundations that align with our goals, please reach out to us or share our message with them. Your connections could open doors for us and help secure the funding necessary to continue our vital work.
