Sean Carlisle – Chairman

Board President Sean Carlisle is a true Charlottean, having moved to the local area with his parents when he was five years old from his birthplace in Salisbury (now Harare) Zimbabwe.  Sean has coached high level soccer in the Charlotte area for the last two decades, and still does currently.

As Director of Sales – Business Development & Operations for Floor Coverings International – South Charlotte, Sean’s strengths include sales leadership, project management, client relations, business consulting, networking and marketing. Skilled at managing and handling large projects, he prides himself on his ability to build and maintain healthy business relations with corporate clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and standards.

Matt Sadinsky – Vice Chairman

Matt Sadinsky’s impressive qualifications include founder and CEO of Prequalified Ready Employees for Power ( PREP) since 2009.  The company matches veterans, grads, experts and pros to “hot jobs” in Energy Technology.  In the past, he has held Chief HR officer roles at large global organizations like Alcatel Alsthom and Vivendi-Universal.  He was the first HR/OD architect at NC start-ups Magellan Laboratories, PERGO Flooring and Grid South.

In 2012, Matt served on the Department of Energy – Electric Advisory Committee Task Force, developing recommendations to assure system reliability through more effective talent management and workforce development.  As Chair of the HR Professionals in Energy Forum, Matt facilitated programs with nationally recognized speakers to help members better meet the needs of tomorrow.

Matt has five grown children and twin grandsons.  A native New Yorker, he is based in Charlotte by choice, and is active in local and state politics and serves on several not-for-profit boards.

Nancy Petty – Treasurer

Nancy Petty brings a lifetime of successful business careers and volunteering to her role as a Board Member of Planet Improv. She began her career as a teacher at a Washington State Community College, soon moving on to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Nancy moved to Charlotte, NC in 1988 where she worked as a small business write up accountant for a number of years.  Ultimately she returned to teaching as a means of working with exceptional children and special academic curriculum students.

Her strong interest in this type of important volunteer work went full time after her retirement in 2018. Today she is currently President of Kiwanis Club of Mecklenburg-Charlotte and on the Board of Teen Health Connection. She has worked to found the back pack program (providing a back pack of food to needy families) at St. Andrews United Methodist Church for Montclaire School and at Sharon UMC (Southpark Church) for Pinewood Elementary School.  She has also worked with Sharon UMC to provide a summer program for Pinewood Elementary School.

Andrea Trembath – Secretary

Andrea Trembath is a multi-talented woman with multiple degrees in the financial world who also loves improv and acting. Andrea is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Northeast University in Boston, Ma. Her many career highlights include her current role as Director of Accounting / Controller for the Cannon School, Concord, NC., owner of her own CPA firm specializing in tax preparation, and Director of Finance for Harvard University Graduate School of Arts & Science.

Now the mother of a teen, Andrea started her daughter, Charlotte, in improv and acting when she was 4 years old.  Andrea attributes Scott Pacitti & The Chuckleheads (the in-house Planet Improv comedy troupe) with re-sparking her own passion for that unique form of entertainment. She has seen firsthand how Scott’s evangelistic attitude toward spreading the gospel and positivity of improv has provided consistent fun and creativity over the decade in the Lake Norman/Charlotte area. She looks forward to being an integral part of Planet Improv’s important work with young people.
