Matt Sadinsky – Vice Chairman

Matt Sadinsky’s impressive qualifications include founder and CEO of Prequalified Ready Employees for Power ( PREP) since 2009.  The company matches veterans, grads, experts and pros to “hot jobs” in Energy Technology.  In the past, he has held Chief HR officer roles at large global organizations like Alcatel Alsthom and Vivendi-Universal.  He was the first HR/OD architect at NC start-ups Magellan Laboratories, PERGO Flooring and Grid South.

In 2012, Matt served on the Department of Energy – Electric Advisory Committee Task Force, developing recommendations to assure system reliability through more effective talent management and workforce development.  As Chair of the HR Professionals in Energy Forum, Matt facilitated programs with nationally recognized speakers to help members better meet the needs of tomorrow.

Matt has five grown children and twin grandsons.  A native New Yorker, he is based in Charlotte by choice, and is active in local and state politics and serves on several not-for-profit boards.

Nancy Petty – Treasurer

Nancy Petty brings a lifetime of successful business careers and volunteering to her role as a Board Member of Planet Improv. She began her career as a teacher at a Washington State Community College, soon moving on to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Nancy moved to Charlotte, NC in 1988 where she worked as a small business write up accountant for a number of years.  Ultimately she returned to teaching as a means of working with exceptional children and special academic curriculum students.

Her strong interest in this type of important volunteer work went full time after her retirement in 2018. Today she is currently President of Kiwanis Club of Mecklenburg-Charlotte and on the Board of Teen Health Connection. She has worked to found the back pack program (providing a back pack of food to needy families) at St. Andrews United Methodist Church for Montclaire School and at Sharon UMC (Southpark Church) for Pinewood Elementary School.  She has also worked with Sharon UMC to provide a summer program for Pinewood Elementary School.
